Everyone’s favourite little blue tank engine is coming to Uxbridge for 2 fun-filled weekends in August!
Day Out With Thomas™ is a family event that offers children and their grownups the opportunity to ride with storybook friend Thomas the Tank Engine™. Families who enjoy taking train rides will love this event. Everyone’s favourite little blue tank engine will be visiting Uxbridge for two weekends of fun, August 12, 13, 14 and 19, 20, 21, 2016.
Thomas the Tank Engine, from Sir Topham Hatt’s fleet of engines, will be chugging his way into the Uxbridge Train Station – making it one of the hottest things to do in the GTA for two fun-filled weekends, loaded with train rides, special guests and more!
At Day Out With Thomas, children and their families will take a 25 minute ride with Thomas the Tank Engine with an opportunity to meet and snap a pic with Sir Topham Hatt, the Controller of the Railway. Off the platform, The Imagination Station will offer many Thomas-themed activities including stamps, temporary tattoos, and face painting, and a Thomas storytelling and video viewing area. York-Durham Heritage Railway will have live entertainment, a petting zoo, ride-on motorbike scooters, hay maze, jumping castles and more. Food vendors will be on-site.
Day Out With Thomas starts at Uxbridge Train Station, 19 Railway Street, in Uxbridge. Trains depart at 9:00, 9:45, 10:30, 11:15, 12:00, 12:45, 1:30, 2:15, 3:00 and 3:45. It is recommended that guests arrive at the event at least one hour before their scheduled departure.
