Markham FairThere is fun to be had for the whole family at the Markham Fair, especially the children!

Four action-packed days that will have your children moving out in the community. Be sure to get there early, and that should not be a problem with free parking at the Fairgrounds. The ever-so popular Nick Jr. Paw Patrol’s Chase and Marshall will be attending the Fair to meet and greet fans on Sunday, September 30th. Wanting to see a variety of horses, the Ram Rodeo will be featured on the track on Saturday and Sunday. And be prepared to be amazed by the Heavy Horse Pull or 6 Horse Hitch entertaining young and old with grace and precision.

All ages will be in awe of the Largest Outdoor Monster Truck Madness with Freestyle Motocross FMX. There will be cars crunched, bikes doing tricks you don’t want to try at home, pure excitement that will only be on Sunday night! There is great family entertainment to be seen at this year’s Markham Fair. The comedic juggling of Craig Douglas, the Great Canadian Fiddle Show, the Wonderful World of Circus, and daily walk around entertainment featuring Doug the Great, Silver Elvis, Trulee Odd Show, Hitmen Drumline, and Kobbler Jay.

Be sure to make some time for Friday, as the President’s Choice SuperDogs will be showing their skill and ability at the Friday Night Show (4pm, 6pm & 8pm), and remember the SuperDogs will have daily shows on Horse Drive. Look to the sky at nightfall, as there are spectacular nightly Fireworks! Cruising around the Markham Fair with strollers on the paved and dirt roads has memories in the making, but why not take a ride on a pony, or a monster truck! There is free face painting Saturday, and Sunday afternoon by the ever so talented Picasso! Have your children come face to face with farm animals at Old MacDonald’s Barn, whether it is a Clydesdale Horse, or a Pot bellied Pig. Your children will be able to experience farm life with a vintage tractor display! Be sure to hang around to see a sheep being sheared, or a cow being milked!
