 Want to make something special for Mom this Mother’s Day but don’t know where to start? Start at our Mother’s Day workshop as we show you how to create your own mixed media artwork on a stretched canvas. Feel free to customise colours and the name to whatever fits best!

Village Voices present Celtic Traditions
 Join Village Voices Markham's Community Choir choir as they explore the folk music traditions of Celtic Music and it’s wholehearted adoption in North America. Including fiddles, flute, pipes, bodhran and a Highland dancer! Complimentary refreshments will be served after the concert. Donations for the Markham Food Bank are welcome.

Unionville Festival
We gather on the first weekend of June throughout Unionville to see long-time friends and make new ones, shop the booths of the Village Market, listen to great music, and feel the fun everywhere. Start on Friday night with our Street Fest for all tastes. Saturday morning, kick off the day with our Festival Parade – the best of its kind in York Region. The day is packed with activities, food, face painting and fun right through to sunset and our famous fireworks over Toogood Pond, come back on Sunday for Family Day at Crosby Park to enjoy non-stop fun for all ages.

Father's Day Workshop: Emergency Moustache Kit for Dad
 Express your love for Dad this Father’s Day by saying ‘Moustache Gracias, Dad!’ We’ll guide you to design your own Moustache Pop Art gift at our Father’s Day Workshop from Saturday Jun 8th to Sunday June 16th. We’ll have a wide range of moustache stencils for you to choose from so that you can create your very own ‘Emergency Moustache Kit” with removable moustaches. Markham Village Music FestivalFrom rock and roll to classical, from country to hip hop, you’ll find a sound to please your ears. As well as music, the Markham Village Music Festival features amateur and professional entertainers. See dancers, jugglers, clowns and much more! Bring the kids to the Children's Village in Morgan Park. The fun begins 6 pm Friday, continues Saturday from 10 am until 9 pm and Sunday from 10 am until 6 pm with carnival rides, face painting, a petting zoo, games for young and old, along with lots of food and refreshments.

Daniel Panetta and an appearance by Doo Doo the International Clown, children's activities,food
and displays. There's something for everyone at Milne! Drop by the childre's activity tent from 3:00 pm
to 6:00 pm, to enjoy the Canada Day themed crafts, colouring, face painting. Fireworks at Dusk (10:00 pm)
