A few weeks ago my daughters, my husband, and I took in this musical at the Lower Ossington
Theatre in Toronto. We hadn't read the book by the same name and written by Victoria Kann that the musical is
based on but as soon as the lights went down and we saw the first hint of sparkly, shimmery pink, we knew we
were in for a treat! What an utterly energetic cast; versatile and talented, they kept us entertained the whole
way through. The story is that of gregarious pinkatastic Pinkalicious. She is a little girl who loves everything
PINK especially pink cup cakes. But we all know too much of anything can be a bad thing! Well Pinkalicious learns
that the hard way. Even her own friend doesn't recognize her when Pinkalicious turns pink from head to toe! Even
she knows when it's time to make a change.

Pinkalicious
is a luscious production! 
The fabulous cast tell the beautiful and 'awwww' evoking story in the most entertaining way. I was a little afraid
that the show might be a little too young for my 12 year old and perhaps borderline for the 8 year old but boy
did they ever enjoy themselves! Even my husband found the innocence and clarity of the story beautiful. The musical
had us singing the pinkatastic Pinkalicious tunes for days to come. Joy is an infectious thing and it sure filled
us with joy!!! Bravo Pinkalicious! Good show!
