CONSERVATION AREAS

Bruce's Mill Conservation Area

Well known for it’s annual Maple Syrup Festival, the park also offers a driving range, walking trails, picnic areas and is home to the York Region Safety Village and the York Region Water Festival.

Milne Park Conservation Area
 

The park offers 2.3 kilometres of trails suitable for walking, jogging and cycling as well as a beach area and fishing. It features 12 picnic areas that accommodate 50 to 300 people. Home of Markham’s annual Canada Day Celebration.

SPLASH PADS AND WATER PLAY

The following water play features are a great way to cool off during the hot summer months. Starting around July 1st and running until August 31 (sometimes later), the park spray features operate from 9:00 a.m. until dusk.

Ashton Meadows Park: Unionville - North west corner of Woodbine and Calvert Road. It is best to park at the north end of the park, off Rachel Crescent.

Beaupre Park: Milliken Mills - North side of Denison north of Coxworth Avenue.

Benjamin Marr Park: Cornell - East of 9th Line, south of Pascoe Drive.

James Edward Park: Milliken Mills - North side of Elson Street, across from James Edward Drive, east of McCowan Road.

Simonston Park (formerly McLaren Park): Thornhill - North West corner of Simonston Boulevard and Don Mills Road.

Milliken Mills Park Splash Pads: Milliken Mills - South side of 14th Avenue, East of Birchmount Road and the railway tracks.

Millennium Park: North west corner of Town Centre Boulevard and Cox Boulevard.

Tomlinson Park: Boxgrove - East side of Boxwood Crescent, west of 9th Line, south of 14th Avenue.
