TOWN OF MARKHAM INDOOR RINKS
Children under 5 are free and adults pay $3. The Parent and Tot skate is a great way for you to introduce
skating to your child. This activity is meant for children 5 and under. A helmet is advised for all recreational
skaters.

The centre has 2 NHL ice pads. A Pro Shop where skate sharpening and merchandise is

The arena has one NHL size ice surface with seating for 2300 spectators and has hosted
many multi-cultural/ community events, shows, television commercials and spectator events. It is home
to the Markham Waxers Jr. A hockey club. Recreational ice skating, parent and tot skating, and pick-up
shinny hockey are offered.

The arena has two ice pads, each 85 x 200 feet. It is home to Markham Islanders, Thornhill
Community Hockey League, and the Thornhill Figure Skating Club, and has been the site of such special
events as the Central Ontario figure skating competitions and many hockey tournaments.
