The snow is here - time to dig out the toboggans and enjoy the powder while it lasts. If you now of

Cross country Skiing and Tobogganing. It's distance from Markham, but
suppose to be a great hill. Let us know if you try it!

Hy-Hope Farm is open year round for famiy entertainment. Throughout the winter months
they offer tobogganing when the weather permits. There are a variety of hills to choose from, all of
which vary in size to accommodate the younger or beginner rider.

One of our members recommended this location for tobogganing. The
park is located on Fincham Avenue just east of Larkin Avenue.
This park also has an outdoor skating rink that is built and maintained by local residents.

Tobogganing is popular along the West side
of the park with a hill big enough to pick up some speed. Riders are warned to be careful on this hill
- it has a gully at the bottom which can throw riders off their boards. Not
recommended for young tobogganers.
Located in Markham just South of 14th Avenue, on the west side of Kennedy Road. Park
at the Milliken Mills Community Centre. |

A small toboggan
hill is located at Parkway Avenue and Paramount Drive.
The park is located in Markham on the east side of Paramount Drive, between Fincham
Avenue south to Church Street. |
